FAMILIES are being encouraged to try their hand at pottery this Easter holiday.
Eastnor Pottery, in Ledbury, has planned special family drop in sessions and a 'spring into sculpture' children's workshop.
The spring workshop will take place at the pottery on Wednesday, April 19, and parents have been advised to book a place.
Jon Williams, the owner of Eastnor Pottery, is expecting a busy Easter since a boom in the popularity of pottery.
"The Great Pottery Throw Down on BBC Two has led to a big boost in business," he said.
"We are expecting lots of families and couples to come in to try the potter's wheel.
"Every school holiday we hold family drop in sessions where people select from a menu of activities."
He said items on the menu include the potter's wheel, the coil pot and the pinch pot.
Children will be making spring themed creations such as fluffy bunnies at the spring workshop.
Family drop in sessions will take place from Tuesday to Saturday and three workshop sessions are scheduled for April 19.
Anyone who wants to book a place can do so by calling 01531 633886 or emailing admin@eastnorpottery.co.uk.
