WHEN a Ledbury-based business named after a local apple variety decided to mark its fifth birthday, a special tree was planted.
Pippin Consultancy Ltd, which provides copywriting services, reached its fifth anniversary on June 1, and founder and director Catherine Every knew exactly what to do, by way of a celebration.
To mark the anniversary, she sponsored a Ribston Pippin apple tree at Dragon Orchard near Ledbury, for the next five years.
She said: “I’m very proud to live in Herefordshire, so much so that I named my business after the numerous pippin apple varieties that grow in the county. Sponsoring a Ribston Pippin apple tree at Dragon Orchard is the perfect way to celebrate the anniversary.”
As a copywriter, Catherine helps businesses to grow by writing marketing materials, articles and other documents.
She also runs copy writing workshops for marketing teams and sells copy writing e-courses "to help individuals learn new skills".
