YOUNGSTERS at Eastnor Pottery escaped holiday boredom by finding inspiration in turnips.
The theme of potter's wheel sessions was 'The Enormous Turnip' and now youngsters are counting the days for when their creations will be fired and ready for collection.
Potter Jon Williams said: "The tale of the Enormous Turnip provided the autumnal inspiration with participants each taking a turn on the potter’s wheel, to make a container for their turnips.
"The children used terracotta clay and their fired creations will be ready for collection from the pottery approximately . one month later."
