BOOKS sent overseas from the John Masefield High School in Ledbury will help to create a bond of friendship with students in South Africa.
A spokesman said: "As part of the Sixth Form initiative creating a link with the Dr Bethuel Setai School, we are collecting reading books to send to South Africa.
"Friends of JMHS are also collecting any suitable books for the school library."
The spokesman added: "There is a competition for the form which has brought in the most books and they will win a prize. The project is being run by our Head girl, Emily Henry."
