PLANNING permission is being sought from Herefordshire Council for the partial demolition and infill of the existing effluent plant and lagoons at the former Robertson's Ledbury Preserves site, off the Little Marcle Road.
The application also calls for the creation of a new effluent treatment plant and the relocation of a staff car park.
The plant, soon to be the site of Western Europe's largest cider mill, is now owned by Universal Beverages Ltd.
A consultation period for public comment concerning the application comes to a close on Wednesday, July 30.
