LAW student Mary Gaskins of Dymock is celebrating a hat trick of success as a law student.

Miss Gaskins, aged 23, graduated with a first class Bachelor of Laws with honours in 2007.

She was also awarded the Sir Henry Barber Scholarship at Birmingham University.

Now Miss Gaskins has achieved the highest award ever in her legal practice course from the College of Law in Birmingham.

She said: “”I owe my success to determination, commitment and support from my parents and a good state education.”

Miss Gaskins is a former student of Newent Community School and she also attended Staunton and Corse Primary School and the Ann Cam Primary, at Dymock.

She will celebrate her latest success by backpacking around South East Asia for six weeks.
