THE manager of Leadon Bank residential home is in line for national recognition, because of her outstanding management skills.

Stephanie Hyde was declared Shaw Healthcare’s regional manager of the year during a “Shaw Stars” presentation day at the home, off Orchard Lane.

Shaw Healthcare spokesman, Stephen Crisp said she was chosen because of the way she handled the transition of staff and residents from the old Leadon Bank Building to the new one, earlier this year.

He added: “This will not do her career path any harm at all.”

Ms Hyde received flowers, a certificate and the chance for a further triumph under the national award scheme, on a date still to be announced.

At the same award ceremony, on Thursday September 18, Jayne Fountain of Ledbury Community Hospital won the regional team leader award, and she will also go on to the national finals.
