LEDBURY Rotarians hosted a party this week at St Michael's retirement flats off Church Lane in the town for members of the Evergreen Club.
This annual event has been held for more than half a century, and the aim is to entertain some of the more mature residents of Ledbury who are not always given the opportunity to get together in a safe and comfortable environment.
The Ledbury Rotary Choir entertained the Evergreen members, and had them joining in the singing.
President Una Morgan said: "The Evergreen party is always a pleasure for Rotarians and for those whom they were hosting. When there is such a focus and demand on providing aid overseas in these difficult times, as in Haiti, it is always good to be able to do something positive for our local community and we are delighted to support the ever-young Evergreen Club."
