Guided walks of town centre launched again

MALVERN Civic Society has relaunched its guided walks through the town centre.
From now until the end of September the walks take place each Saturday at 10.30am and Sunday at 2.30 pm.
They start at the tourist information centre (TIC) at the top of Church Street, and take about 90 minutes, with no steep climbs.
The focus of the tour is the Victorian water cure, which put Malvern on the map, but the guides also cover other Elgar, the Malvern Festival and other topics.
The walks cost £3 adult and 50 pence for children. The TIC takes bookings, and people can also turn up at the time.
For large groups, the organisers prefer to know in advance as they might need more than one guide.
