THE Vale of Evesham School is set to get an extension after planners approved proposals that will see the site grow.

The extension will extend the school office and four classrooms to the front of the school on the ground floor.

The school, which caters for the needs of young people with learning difficulties, applied for the extra rooms to accommodate an increase in pupil numbers and to enable them to cope with future demand.

It was given the support of Evesham Town Council as well as Wychavon District Council.
