ROSS-on-Wye's new post office is set to open next month.
The branch, located 10 metres from its current site at The Maltings, will welcome its customers on Saturday, May 10.
The new location will have longer opening hours and five serving positions.
The current branch at The Maltings is set to close at 5.30pm tomorrow.
People are asked to go to nearby post offices during the closure.
“We understand how important having a post office is to residents in Ross On Wye and we are confident that this new modern post office will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future," said Adrian Wales, Post Office regional network manager.
“This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”
