BEWDLEY’S branch of The Royal British Legion will hold a one hour vigil to mark the centenary of the First World War at the town centre’s war memorial.
The event on Monday, August 4 from 10pm to 11pm will be part of Lights Out, a national moment of reflection involving households throughout the UK turning off their lights but leaving a single candle on in remembrance of the Great War.
Members of The Royal British Legion and the branch’s standard will be present at the event.
