TAXI drivers from Halesowen are hoping to score the winning goal in an annual charity football competition on Sunday.
Express Taxis is one of eight firms taking part in the Dudley Private Hire and Taxi Association tournament at the Dell Stadium, Brierley Hill.
Association chairman Shaz Saleem said the event, starting at 1pm, is in aid of Russells Hall Hospital’s eye unit and will raise awareness about the eye condition glaucomo which causes blindness.
Last year’s tournament raised £1,130 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Dudley’s deputy mayor Councillor Steve Waltho will present the trophies.
