BROMSGROVE Street Pastors celebrated their second birthday by holding a service at the Ye Olde Black Cross.
During the event Sergeant Louise Meeson and Reverend Paul Lewis cut the birthday cake.
The scheme, which was set up in 2012, is run by volunteers from Churches Together in Bromsgrove and now has more than 40 members.
Street Pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who patrol in teams of men and woman to talk, help or care for people who are out on the streets.
Reverend Lewis, who is the chairman of Bromsgrove Street Pastors thanked the council, the police and the pub landlords for taking the pastors to their hearts.
As part of the anniversary 10 new members were commissioned at the service and these were a mixture of prayer and Street Pastors.
