A school's bake-off competition was kicked off with a Halloween themed cake sale this week.
Year one pupils of Ombersley Endowed First School and Nursery got the Great Ombersley Bake Off underway, to raise money for the school.
Now in its third year, classes compete against each other to raise funds which help support their own learning, as each class keeps the money raised.
Parents and pupils brought along spooky delights such as scary spider cakes, mummy cup cakes and gory ghoulish fingers to the cake sale.
Caroline Moore, head teacher of the school, said: "A cake sale is a wonderful way to raise funds.
"At the end of the academic year, the winning class is presented with the fabulous Bake Off Cup and awarded the coveted title of Ombersley Bake Off Champions.
“Our year one children have made a fantastic start to the competition, so thank you and well done to all the families who have helped."
The next event will be hosted by year three on Friday, December 12, from 3pm at the school gates.
