A NUMBER of vehicles were targeted in Worcester this week as vandals kicked off wing mirrors and thieves stole tools from inside vans.

The first act of vandalism took place in Astwood Lane, near Astwood Road in Worcester, when sometime between 5.30pm on Monday, January 26, and 8am the next day the wing mirrors were kicked of a vehicle. Anyone with information about this incident should contact the police on 101 and quote reference number 0310S 270115.

Later the same day, Tuesday, January 27, in Tintern Avenue, off Astwood Road in Worcester, between 8.30pm and 8am on Wednesday, January 28, wing mirrors were pulled off another vehicle and cabling was pulled out.

In Cumberland Street, Barbourne, between the evening of Wednesday, January 28, and 3pm the next day, someone punctured the front driver side door lock to a parked silver Citroen dispatch van and once inside removed tools.

During the same time a number of construction tools were stolen out of a Citroen despatch van parked on the road outside a home in Lansdowne Street, Barbourne.

The thieves drilled out the driver's side door lock to gain entry.
