DROITWICH residents are getting crafty in the new year with the Wychbold branch of Hobbycraft reporting a 75 per cent increase in sewing machine sales from last year, as well as an increase in sales of knitting, baking and card making products.
Store manager, Neil Handford, said: “A new year is the perfect time to rediscover a past hobby or start a new one. Knitting, baking and card marking are all gaining huge popularity here in Droitwich. Learning a new skill is a really productive new year’s resolution, and can also be something fun to do together as a family.”
