TWO burglaries in a village near Pershore being probed by detectives are thought to be linked.

West Mercia Police has launched an appeal for information after the pair of crimes in Naunton Beauchamp on the same night.

The first burglary occurred at a home on Seaford Lane between 10pm on Friday, May 22 and 5.50am on Saturday 23.

Although nothing was stolen, the offender or offenders had attempted to force entry into the property.

The second burglary happened between 11.45pm on Friday 22 and 7am on Saturday 23.

A 60in Panasonic TV, Apple MacBook Air, black Puma handbag and an iPad mini were stolen.

Officers believe the two incidents may be linked and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed either of the burglaries or observed any suspicious behaviour.
