HEREFORD children traveled to Wales to cool off during the heat-wave.
All 209 pupils from St James Primary School went down to Barry Island last week – and many of those enjoyed a swim as temperatures soared.
Staff and parents also enjoyed the trip which saw the youngsters build a replica World War One trench on the beach.
