THE friends and staff of Evesham Hospital are hoping for good weather when they stage their hospital fayre in the grounds of the hospital.

Attractions include stalls selling handmade cushions, cakes, a tombola stall, cakes books, jewellery, bric-a-brac and refreshments. There will also be a Splat-the-rat, name the bear, and a raffle. It is also hoped to have the presence of Evesham Sea Cadets.

The chairman of The Friends,Frances Smith, said:”Evesham Community Hospital is a much loved and respected part of the local NHS system and to this end the Friends are committed to raising as much money as possible to allow them to purchase much-needed pieces of equipment, which the NHS either cannot afford or is unable to provide, so I urge everyone to please come along and support your local hospital. You never know when you may need to use its services.”

The fayre takes place on September 12 between 10am and 12pm. If wet it will be held in the training centre adjacent to the main car park.
