A MAN has been taken to hospital after a serious road smash at Studley, Warwickshire, involving a car and a lorry.
The crash happened on Node Hill at around 5.25pm on Monday October 5.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the driver of the car, a man believed to be in his 40s, suffered chest and hip injuries as well as several bumps and bruises.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to The Alexandra Hospital at Redditch for further treatment following the crash which caused "substantial damage" to the car.

The spokesman added: “Considering the damage to the car the man is fortunate not to have suffered more serious injuries.”
The male driver of the lorry was uninjured in the crash, which was attended by a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and a paramedic officer from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
