WEST Mercia Police have said they have had no information from the National Crime Agency, nor any extradition requests for a 'fugitive' grandma who is said to be in Worcestershire after skipping parole conditions in Peru.
Lillian Allen, from Belfast, was arrested in Peru in 2011 for trying to smuggle 7kgs of cocaine out of the country. She was sentenced to eight years in jail and was released after serving half that time.
She was meant to remain in the South American country until 2018 on parole, reporting twice a month to Peru police, but bribed airport staff to allow her onto a plane back to the UK at a cost of around $600.
Speaking to an Irish newspaper last year after her return, Allen, said she flew to Birmingham. She is understood to have been in the district since last March.
Unconfirmed reports to the Worcester News state Allen has family in Worcester and Malvern, including grandchildren.
