A RARE opportunity for readers of the Cotswold Journal and the no-longer-running Stratford-upon-Avon Journal has arisen as a number of bound archived copies of the papers dating from 1991 and 1992 have become available.

Only a handful of copies were bound and lack of storage space means they are being given away free on a first-come, first-served basis.

There is one book of copies of the Cotswold Journal for 1991 dated January 3 to March 28 and five books of copies dated 1992 covering: January 2 to March 26; April 2 to June 25; July 2 to August 27; September 3 to October 29 and November 5 to December 31.

There are also four bound copies of the Stratford-upon-Avon Journal. One is dated April 4 to June 29 1991 and the others cover most of 1992: January 2 to March 26; September 3 to October 29 and November 5 to December 31.

There are no other dates available and each book must be collected from the Worcester News office at Berrows House, in Hylton Road, Worcester.

Anyone wanting one of the copies is asked to email Cotswold Journal reporter Vivien Mason at: vma@cotswoldjournal.co.uk indicating which date you are interested in and to arrange collection.
