NORTH Herefordshire MP, Bill Wiggin has organised public meetings in Ledbury and Bromyard to help constituents decide how they should vote in the forthcoming EU referendum.

Both meetings will take place on the same day, Friday June 10, with the Bromyard meeting starting at 5.30pm at The Falcon Hotel, Bromyard, and the Ledbury meeting from 7pm at the Ledbury Community Centre, Lawnside Road.

Mr Wiggin will be present at both meetings.

He has already said he is in favour of leaving the EU,and Mr Wiggin has campaigned recently for the "leave" campaign on Herefordshire streets.

But he feels there has not been enough information about either position, to stay in or leave, and this is why he has organised the public meetings

But Mr Wiggin said: "I imagine that most of you, like me, have the forthcoming EU Referendum on your mind, and how you should vote.

"Many of my constituents have shared with me their concerns that there is little information available about this, which hinders their ability to make an informed choice on this once-in-a-generation vote."

He added: "This referendum, whatever the result, will affect the future of the UK in a dramatic fashion. I therefore think that it is vital that everyone is as informed as possible on the issue of the EU when approaching the Ballot Box on June 23.

"As the local MP, I want to help and support my constituents as they decide on their vote on the UK’s membership of the EU.

"In order to do this, I will be holding a series of public meetings. I will do my utmost to help people to make an informed choice. The meetings are open to everyone. I welcome all my constituents, regardless of their political views, which will allow for a more interesting discussion."
