Light fitting fire put out by Redditch crew
A LIGHT fitting which had caught fire at a Redditch property yesterday afternoon (May 30), alerted the attention of Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
The Redditch Fire Station crew were sent to investigate the fire after a smell of burning was reported to them at about 6.42pm.
After reaching the property in Bromsgrove Road, they found that there was a fire in the light fitting which they were able to put out once the electric supply was isolated.
