HUNDREDS of shoppers have had to be evacuated from Redditch's Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The incident happened about 9am this morning with staff and shoppers, forced to stand outside.
Three areas of the centre were evacuated, this was a false alarm due to a technical fault.
A spokesman from the centre said: "The safety of customers is of paramount importance and so the decision was taken to evacuate the areas while the issue was investigated."
