AN ELDERLY care home in Bromsgrove marked St Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish celebration.
Residents at Housman Court got dressed up to watch Irish dancers from Jean Davis Academy, who had volunteered to provide entertainment.
Continuing the traditional theme, residents at the Housman Park home enjoyed Irish stew and soda bread for their dinner.
Housman activities organiser Carina McAuliffe said: "Residents were overwhelmed by the dancer's performance and many even joined in. The Irish stew and soda bread went down really well too - in fact, most of the residents had never tried soda bread before. A few of them said it was the best entertainment they ahd seen and said they wanted them to come again.
"It was nice to see so many residents enjoying something and taking part."
Care home staff made a donation to Jean Davis Academy to go towards funding school trips.
