REPAIR work to fix a leaking water pipe in Alvechurch has left a road partially flooded.
Severn Trent engineers worked to complete emergency repairs on a leaking water pipe beneath Redditch Road this morning (Tuesday, March 28).
Temporary traffic lights were put in place to allow them to work safely.
A spokesman said: "The leak is not having any effect on customer supplies but has resulted in some flooding to the road.
"If everything goes to plan the work should be complete and the road re-opened by the end of the day.
"We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused, our engineers are working as quickly as possible to get everything back to normal."
