A WOMAN in her 40s died after a cardiac arrest at a house in Boat Lane, Offenham.
Police and ambulance activity was seen in the road just before 10.25am on Saturday. The incident is not being treated as suspicious
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered a woman in cardiac arrest.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
A West Mercia Police spokesman added: "Police were called by the ambulance service to a property on Boat Lane in Offenham shortly before 10.30am on Saturday (17 March) following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
"Officers and ambulance attended and a woman – believed to be in her 40s – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"The woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and a file has been prepared for the coroner."
An ambulance spokesman added that one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance crew from Strensham in a rapid response car attended the scene.
