BROMSGROVE is set to be ‘flippin’ better than ever when a skateboard and BMX event returns to town.

King Ramps will be bringing their ramps to the High Street on Saturday, August 18, with visitors able to soak in demos from pros and get the chance to try a trick or too in a series of workshops.

There will also be aerial demonstrations and workshops.

The free event is organised by Bromsgrove District Council and will run from 11am to 4pm.

Portfolio holder for economic development, cllr Karen May, said: “This was a huge success last year and I am delighted that King Ramps is returning.

“Once again Bromsgrove town centre will be a hive of activity and will attract visitors to the High Street to see what’s on offer and how vibrant and fantastic it is!”
