VILLAGES near Tenbury are preparing for two summer fetes.

The first of these at Easton Court is the Little Hereford Fete.

It will be staged on Saturday, August 11.

On the menu of attractions are a bird of prey demonstration and novelty dog show. People are simply asked to turn up with their dog and try their luck.

The Tenbury Town Band will perform and there will be stalls selling a range of items. Teas and refreshments will be available at the fete that takes place between 2pm and 4.30pm.

It is the turn of Eastham on Sunday, August 19 at Eastham Church. The event opens at 1.30pm and there will be a bar, barbeque, cakes, cream teas, skittles, a tombola and stalls.
