A PROLIFIC Kidderminster burglar headbutted a prison officer in open court.
Johnathan Biddle, aged 21, who appeared in the dock, attacked the guard before professing his love to his girlfriend.
He said: "I love you, nothing happened. Jade I love you - come and visit me."
He pleaded guilty to eight counts of burglary at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on August 8.
The court heard that Biddle, who was accompanied by Shane Hodgkins on five occasions, had targeted Western Post UK Ltd in Kidderminster.
On each occasion, they made off with £30 to £80 worth of furniture, sometimes carrying out the thefts more than once a day.
The burglaries were carried out between February 20 and May 14.
Biddle, of Clent Mews, Kidderminster, was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday, September 5.
He was arrested following an incident on Wren Avenue and Elgar Avenue, Malvern on Monday, August 6.
