THE first-ever Ledbury medieval event, with its late-night opening of most of the shops in town, turned out to be a fantastic evening even though a little rain fell, but the spirit was not dampened. The street was alive with music and medieval dress; fire eaters, jugglers and a choir entertained throughout the evening. The mayor, Keith Francis, along with Annette Crowe drew the draw tickets the first prize winner of the £1,000.00 lives in Ross with two Ledbury winners taking second and third place.
