Ramblers storm to top after fine show

CSSC Ramblers hit the top of Paperstation Malvern League Division One after a 10-0 thrashing of Crackpots ‘E’.
Chris Hewitt, Graham Thompson and Alan Salisbury were undefeated.
Ledbury Collection dropped to second after they lost 8-2 to Manor Park Cavaliers as Joe Higgs and Mile Keeley went unbeaten.
Manor Park Express consolidated third position with a hard-fought 6-4 win over Ledbury Lions.
Pete Griffiths and Ray Page both won twice and the doubles, while Lions’ Chris Sabourin bagged three singles.
Scuttling Gang secured their second victory as they beat Manor Park Pumas 6-4.
Richard McKenna won his three singles and Chris Field two. Pumas’ first point of the season was aided by two successes from Dave Hallam.
In Division Two, Abbey College drew 5-5 with Malvern Tornadoes with Artem Dubinin winning three singles for the former team.
CSSC Nomads recorded their first wins of the season, beating X-Police 8-2 and Crackpots ‘B’ 7-3 with Dave Hayes unbeaten.
Crackpots ‘D’ won in the doubles when they lost 9-1 to Manor Park Travellers.
Ripple beat Abbey College 8-2 with Pete Nash claiming three singles and the doubles with Roger Davies.
Robert Weston won three to give Poolbrook Panthers their first win in the league, beating Devils 7-3. Stephen Lindner was unbeaten as Manor Park Crackpots saw off Malvern Tornadoes 8-2.
