MALVERN side Dipsticks lost 6-1 to Worcester in the first game between the clubs for at least four years.

Keeper Steve Ollis made several great saves but the defence were stretched by the skills and trickery of the visitors.

Dipsticks were 2-0 down at half-time and pushed forward to score but left more gaps at the back, despite the efforts of Ben Thomas and Hywel Rhys Matthews.

As the game went on, Worcester dominated and scored excellent goals although Dipsticks secured a consolation when Helen Barnes smashed home following a short corner.
