HEAVY conditions underfoot hampered the scoring for many in the Bransford Seniors Winter Stableford League’s fifth leg.
The best tally of the day was Mike Weaver’s 37 points, which saw him home in Division Two, while 33 each for June Atkinson and Roger Steade led them to victory.
Division One: Atkinson 33, Tony Robinson 31, Mike Davidge 30; Division Two: Weaver 37, Tony Hardiman 35, Dave Randle 33; Division Three: Steade 33, Roy Mayo 31, Malcolm Bradley 30.
The seniors got home and away winter league fixtures with Little Lakes under their belts, drawing 3-3 at home and winning 3½-2½ away.
Home: Peter Harrison (23) and Brian Lawrence (19) halved, Roy Williams (18) and Davidge (18) won 2 up, Ian Hamilton (12) and John Phillips (20) lost 2 down, Harry Godwin (15) and Neil Sheldon (22) lost 4 and 3, Bill Bowen (17) and Jeff Thomas (13) won 5 and 4, Trevor Atkinson (13) and Alan Wallcroft (24) halved.
Away fixture: Harrison and Atkinson lost 3 and 2, Thomas and Randle (20) halved, Hamilton and Adrian Wood (20) won 1 up, Williams and Phillips won 1 up, Davidge and Sheldon won 1 up, Robinson and Wallcroft lost 4 and 3.
