VBL into semi-final in style

A NINE-goal thriller at VBL Sports saw the hosts beat Malvern Victoria 5-4 in the Southam Trophy quarter-finals after being 3-1 down at one stage.

Darren Palmer notched a double for VBL as did Andy Lancett for Victoria in the Worcester and District League.

Callow End moved up to third in the Sunday Premier Division with a 3-2 win over CMB Sports, while Colwall St James romped to a 6-2 success at St John’s in Division One.

Brad Morton scored twice in Newtown Sports’ fine 4-3 win at titlechasing Arrow 2000 in Saturday Division One.

Kieron Adams bagged two for West Malvern 2012 who won 3-1 at Katy O’Ryans in Division Two.
