MALVERN bounced back from earlier setbacks with a 3-1 win over Redditch in Worcester and District League Division One.
Highlights for Malvern were a strategic win by John Knee over a strong opponent and a tactical victory by Geoffrey Herbert.
Tony Shaw drew a steady, well-controlled game and Brian Turner, a pawn down, held out to draw a long ending.
