MALVERN Dipsticks won their first fixture against Evesham 2-0 with a good display of passing.
The mixed side held a solid shape throughout with Ben Thomas ably anchoring the formidable defence to a deserving clean sheet.
The goals came from confident finishes by Helen Barnes and Alex Dakin.
