Malvern Hills grab derby day delight
MALVERN Hills secured a comprehensive victory over Malvern Victoria at Manor Park in the Churchill Retirement Living League.
A low-scoring encounter saw 45 of the 63 ends won by a single shot as Malvern Hills triumphed on two rinks with a tie on the third.
Victoria saved a complete whitewash when Ian Dick’s final delivery transformed a deficit of two to a one-shot win, clinching the draw.
Hills claimed nine points to Victoria’s one.
