CSSC Ramblers enjoyed a superb 6-4 victory over Broadheath Belters in Paperstation Malvern League Division One.

Two fine wins from Alan Salisbury and Graham Thompson inspired them, while Chris Hewitt also contributed a victory.

Hewitt also combined with Graham to take the doubles in four sets against Brett Brining and Sasha Grokhotov.

The unbeaten Grokhotov and Brining contributed the other win.

Manor Park Express claimed a second successive victory in their attempt to avoid relegation with a 7-3 victory against bottom-of-the-table Crackpots 'E'.

Dave Woodyatt (3), Pete Griffiths (2) and Dale Dickenson were successful for Express with the first pair also defeating Dave Steen and Matt Hodges in the doubles.

Colin Dolding (2) and Steen were victorious for Crackpots 'E'.

Pterodactyls and Manor Park Pumas shared a 5-5 draw with Wayne Chopping again unbeaten for the former side.

He also combined with Graham Collier to take the doubles in five sets against Geoff Woodward and Jon Dyke.

Collier contributed the other win for Pterodactyls, while Woodward and Dyke claimed two each for Pumas and Dave Hallam the other.

Manor Park Travellers maintained their 100 per cent Division Two winning record with a 10-0 victory against Poolbrook Wanderers, thanks to maximums from Martin Snee, Toby Wren and Pete Roberts.

Scuttling Gang kept up their challenge for second place with a 9-1 win against YMCA Vulcans through trebles from Richard McKenna and Ray Davies.

Bill Smith also contributed two victories with Richard Bennett replying for Vulcans.

In Division Three, Crackpots 'D' enjoyed a crucial 6-4 victory over promotion-challenging Tornados thanks to another maximum from Frank Lane and single wins from James Palmer and Bob Rhodes.

Palmer and Rhodes also won the doubles against Andy Banks and Ethan Webb, who each contributed two singles wins for Tornados.

Manor Park Crackpots defeated an undermanned Crackpots 'B' 7-3 thanks to two wins from Stephen Lindner and one for Will Jones.

Jones and Lindner also took the doubles against Stan Ginn and Ted Cates, who secured two and one wins for Crackpots 'B' respectively.

Manor Park Devils enjoyed two victories to leapfrog into second place with 7-3 and 6-4 triumphs over Abbeydowne and Poolbrook Panthers respectively.

Paul Lythgoe again won his three games for Devils against Panthers with Pete Harding (2) and Denis Chetwood claiming the others. Collette James (2) and Ian Sage replied for Panthers.

Harding claimed three successes against Abbeydowne and the doubles with Liz Hallam, who contributed another win along with Chetwood.

Chris Burrows and Niels Erikkson won two each for Abbeydowne.
