LEADERS Welland romped to a 7-0 win at lowly Winchcombe Town Reserves in Cheltenham Association Football League Division Three.
But they had to make changes as, after already missing several players, left-back Jon Williams suffered a groin strain in the warm-up.
Welland started brightly and Stuart Wilkes’ fine run was only ended by a foul with Omar Elmougy dispatching the free-kick into the bottom corner.
Their second came as Ben Pearson and Wilkes combined for Tim Lewis to slide the ball past an on-rushing goalkeeper.
Ben Deakin whipped a cross over for Pearson to nod home before two neat finishes from Elmougy made it 5-0 at half-time.
The second-half was more even but Welland defended well.
Wilkes grabbed a deserved strike before Elmougy completed his four-goal haul late on.
Welland visit Brockworth Albion Reserves on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Upton Town drew 1-1 at home to Bishops Cleeve thirds in Division One with a goal from Luke Kitchen.
They host Kings on Saturday and entertain Whaddon United in the Senior Charity Cup next Wednesday.
Bottom-of-the-table Hanley Swan host Charlton Rovers on Saturday.
