WORCESTERSHIRE only managed 14.1 overs on day two of their LV= County Championship Division Two clash at Kent.
Rain ruined the contest at Tunbridge Wells with the County at least protecting their wicket with 48-0 in reply to the hosts’ 258 all out.
Opening pair Daryl Mitchell (24 not out) and Matt Pardoe (20no) go into the third day hoping to continue their solid partnership.
All-rounder Joe Leach (5-36) starred with the ball on Sunday with his first county championship five-wicket haul.
Overseas spinner Saeed Ajmal chipped in with 2-80 from 33 overs alongside one wicket apiece for Jack Shantry, Charlie Morris and Moeen Ali.
Sam Northeast (53) top-scored for Kent with Ben Harmison adding 47 and Brendan Nash 41.
