MALVERN Town have a tough friendly test at home to Southern League side Bishops Cleeve at the HDanywhere Community Stadium tomorrow (2.30pm).

They are upping preparations before the West Midlands League Premier Division opener at Cradley a week tomorrow.

Malvern were due to play at Droitwich Spa last night in the Paul Pallett Memorial Cup second leg after romping home 5-0 in the first match.

Town also defeated a Worcester City XI 5-0 in midweek and drew 0-0 with a touring Greenways side last weekend.

New Town signings include ex-Kidderminster academy striker Jake Hollylee, midfielder Kirk Layton from Worcester side Perrywood, experienced local forward Bryan Craven, Welland keeper Niall Hacking and Malvern Rangers’ young front-runner Sam Rathbone.
