WORCESTER Warriors’ Sixways Stadium has been selected to host November’s match between a Championship XV representative side and Canada.

The best XV from across the league will face Canada in a game designed to highlight the breadth of talent on offer in the second tier and provide an international experience for players and spectators.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 2 at 3.15pm.

Warriors acting chief executive Anthony Glossop said: “I am delighted we have been chosen to host a game which will bring together the best players in the Championship.

“We have fully embraced this Championship campaign and we are all looking forward to welcoming those players to Sixways to showcase their talents against an international side.”

Nottingham Rugby head coach Martin Haag will take charge of the Championship XV, made up of English qualified players across the second tier. Moseley head coach Kevin Maggs will be assistant coach.
