THE Worcestershire’s Lucy Walton has again won the Worcestershire and Herefordshire Junior Girls’ County Championship.
Held at The Vale club in Bishampton, near Pershore, and played over 36 holes, the competition attracted the cream of the two counties’ young golfing talent.
Walton’s two rounds of 77 gross were sufficient for her to win by two strokes.
Such good form will serve her well when she joins the England schools’ squad to play in Scotland next month.
