DARTS ace Terry Jenkins crashed to a 6-3 defeat against James Wade in the first round of the Unibet European Championship in Belgium.
Wade took the opening three legs to take command of the game, with Jenkins pulling back to 4-3 but crucially missing five darts to level in a key leg eight.
Left-hander Wade punished the Ledbury thrower by landing tops before firing in a 180 and double 10 to seal victory on leg nine in the £300,000 tournament.
Michael van Gerwen retained the title after fighting back from 10-7 down to claim an incredible 11-10 win against Gary Anderson in the final at the Ethias Arena.
