WORCESTER Warriors academy player Bec Cutting was man of the match as Bromsgrove School won the NatWest Schools Cup under 18s final.

The Worcestershire students triumphed 18-10 against Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield, at Twickenham Stadium.

Competing in their second successive cup final, Bromsgrove, who are coached by former Worcester player Tony Windo, were inspired by two tries from number eight Cutting.

Jamie George, the Saracens and England hooker, presented the winners with the trophy and also handed over a signed England jersey to star man Cutting.

Meanwhile, Cumbria’s Sedbergh School won the under 15s cup by beating Wellington College 24-17 with Malvern flanker Jake Hill playing a key role.

The former Malvern College and Abberley Hall School pupil, who is also a talented cricketer, impressed at the rucks and breakdown in a tireless display at Twickenham.
