THE Football Association are now investigating the behaviour of Hereford FC fans at four cup matches.

Bulls chief executive Ken Kinnersley confirmed to the Hereford Times that as well as the FA Cup tie at Romulus, the matches against Sutton Coldfield Town, Tonbridge Angels and Salisbury are being looked at.

The club are also conducting a separate investigation into what occurred in the Meadow End near the end of their home league match against Paulton Rovers.

In order to issue any banning orders, Hereford would have to undertake legal requirements with the police in order to get names and addresses before putting the facts before the club's board.

"You're never going to stop foul and abusive language, but some people just have to unleash it constantly," said Kinnersley.

"Sadly, there has been some racist and sexist comments made, which is disappointing.

"We're trying to persuade some of these groups to police themselves, because it really is a small minority of about 10 people out of 2,000 plus.

"But everybody gets affected by it."

Hereford are home to Didcot Town tomorrow before travelling to Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday.
