HEREFORD FC will be opening a soup kitchen at their Radford's bar on the evening of Christmas Day to feed those in need.
The Bulls are now appealing for donations of any spare warm clothing or sleeping bags that supporters may have, so that they can distributed to homeless people around the county.
"As a community club we realise that we have to try and offer help to as wide and varied cross section of the community as we can," said events manager James Smith.
"By working with local charity Open Door, we have approached the local homeless community with an offer of a warm meal and shelter on Christmas Day evening, but we’d also like to be able to hand out some warm clothing to those who need as well.
"If anyone has any old jumpers, coats, hats, scarves or gloves lying around that they’d like to donate then they can drop them off at the main club reception throughout December. "Any unused clothing will be donated to local charities."
